Introduction
EZPZ Trader turns alerts from TradingView, TrendSpider or your own code into orders at your broker, on every account you connect.
What EZPZ Trader does
A trading strategy decides when to buy or sell. EZPZ Trader does the rest: it receives the alert, works out the order for each of your accounts, and places it with your broker within a second.
You don't need to write code or keep a computer running. Alerts arrive in the cloud, and every order, fill and skipped trade is logged so you can check what happened and why.
How the pieces fit together
| Piece | What it is |
|---|---|
| Broker connection | One of your broker accounts (live or paper), linked to EZPZ Trader. |
| Strategy | Owns the webhook URL your alerts are sent to, and its asset class: stocks, stock options, index options, futures or crypto. |
| Subscription | Connects one strategy to one broker account and holds that account's settings: position size, order type, sides, trading windows, take profit and stop loss. |
| Signal | One alert received on the webhook. Each signal runs on every enabled subscription of its strategy. |
One strategy can feed many accounts, each with its own size and rules, from a single alert. For example, you could trade 100 shares on a live account and 10 on a paper account at the same moment.
Your first alert
The smallest alert has two fields:
{
"ticker": "{{ticker}}",
"action": "buy"
}
Everything else is optional. The Signal Message Reference lists every field you can send.
Where to go next
- Quick Start: your first paper trade in about ten minutes.
- How a Signal Becomes an Order: each step, and what can stop a trade.
- Signal Message Reference: every field, value and example.
- Why a Trade Was Skipped: every reason shown on a signal, and how to fix it.
Not financial advice
EZPZ Trader executes the signals you send. It doesn't decide what to trade, and it isn't a fully self-healing system: alerts can be late, brokers can reject orders, and markets move. Watch your accounts, and test every strategy on paper first.
