Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ezpztrader ("ezpztrader," "we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to ezpztrader.com and the ezpztrader service (the "Service").

1. How we use information

What we collect goes toward: running the Service and executing your trades; authenticating you and keeping your account secure; billing your subscription; answering support requests; catching and investigating fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and meeting our legal obligations. Your trading activity is never used to trade for our own account, and it's never used to train a third-party model.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed password (never stored in a form anyone could read).
• Broker connection data — OAuth access tokens or encrypted API keys for whichever broker/exchange accounts you connect, plus the balances, positions, and orders we need to read to place trades correctly. Your broker login password never reaches us.
• Trading activity — the strategies, webhook signals, orders, and fills that pass through the Service.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers ourselves.
• Usage and device data — IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, and log data used to run, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
• Communications — support messages, security reports, or anything else you send us directly.

3. How we share information

• The broker or exchange you connect — has to receive the orders we submit on your instruction; that's the only way a trade reaches the market.
• Service providers — hosting, payment processing, error monitoring, email delivery, and similar vendors who keep the platform running, bound by agreements limiting their use of your data to providing that service to us.
• Legal and safety — where the law, a subpoena, or valid legal process requires it, or to protect ezpztrader, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — should ezpztrader go through a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal, still subject to this policy.

We don't sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or share your trading activity with other users.

4. Cookies

A first-party cookie remembers your light/dark theme preference — nothing personal in it, and it isn't used for tracking or advertising. If analytics, payment processing, or similar features get added later, those providers may set their own cookies, and we'll update this policy when that happens.

5. Data security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest; broker API keys are encrypted, and where a broker supports OAuth we store only the token, never a password; two-factor authentication is available on your account. More detail lives on our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't promise otherwise.

6. Data retention

Your information stays with us while your account is open. Once you close it, we delete or anonymise what we hold, except where we're required to keep records for legal, tax, or audit reasons. Backups may retain data briefly after deletion.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or a portable copy of it. Email info@ezpztrader.com to exercise any of these — we'll verify your identity first and respond within whatever window the applicable law sets. Closing your account yourself, any time, is also just a dashboard action away.

8. California privacy rights

California residents get specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA: to know what personal information we collect and why, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to not be penalised for exercising any of that. Since we already don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, there's nothing to opt out of in practice. Requests go to info@ezpztrader.com; an authorised agent can submit one on your behalf with proof of that authorisation.

9. International users

We operate out of the United States, and that's where our infrastructure lives. Using the Service from outside the U.S. means your information gets transferred to and processed here, under U.S. privacy law rather than your home jurisdiction's.

10. Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone that age — consistent with the eligibility requirement in our Terms of Service.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy can be updated over time. We'll post the new version here with a fresh "Last updated" date, and make a reasonable effort to notify you directly when a change is material.
